Okay, here is the mushroom that I made for Oolie when she was here.
It was a "snap!"
It is all foam core and newspaper! Oh, and a little "papier mache goop" and some paint..
I think that I need to make a few more of these little guys.

Guess I have a bit of a flair for toadie stools, hunh?
(it is all about the fairies and magic)
Jone and Oolie - so lovely to see what you're up to. I was needing a positive boost this morning and logged onto pantryviolets to see what you'd been doing. I do check regularly and so appreciate the time and effort you put into keeping this blog up to date. I shall try and post something later this week - nothing as beautiful as the things everyone is making - but nevertheless an example of my creative efforts!!
ReplyDeleteThank you again. You are both such wonderful inspirational rays of light.

I adore the toadstool. Very cool. Thanks for showing the underside view which i like even more than I like the top which I like very much. I would love to take a paper mache class- especially with either Julie. Thanks for showing. also the other stiff Jone and Oolie made is terrific. You must have had a fantastic time together.
