feeling inspired

Well, having been quite proud of myself last week because of another spoonflower win, I feel put to shame with all your completely gorgeous stitching and crafting! It seems as if I cannot actually achieve anything unless there is a competition attached to it!!! But I am now inspired and will get my needles back out......Nick will be pleased, we are knee deep in cloth at our house and every time I mention 'spoonflower" his eyes glaze over! Happy Crafting!

more insects

Thought you would all like to see that Jone and I are vaguely obsessed with entering spoonflower competitions, burnt dinners, neglected chldren, below standard designs at work have all contributed to my latest entry on the theme of insects....unlike the brilliant Jone who conjures up beautiful whimsical and frankly attractive bugs, my copied ladybirds look like they are ready to embark on a military excercise!

momiji

Dear Linda, you might remember back in October when we met up in London you suggested that I enter the momiji couture competition...well I did, and my needlefelted doll came 7th and is being shown in Los Angeles with the other runner ups as well as the 'marie antoinette' winning doll! So thank you Linda for having such a keen eye for things in the press! Could you post us with some more competitions as I have nothing to enter for the new year!!!
