Mom made rubber stamps yesterday.
My little friend, Sylvie, came over to do some "projects" and so we all made rubber stamps.
Here are some photos of Mom's creation that I think is perfect for Valentine's Day....

After carving the roses, she used watercolor (or goache) to paint the colors she wanted for printing.

The "rubber" (foam sheet) was glued to 3/4" foam core board so that it has a little "give" when pressing down to print the image.

Ta DA! The successful print of her "heart of roses"......well done for a "first-timer"
