"Inchies" Make A Noise!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear, Dear Clare-
I am not sure how to reach you......! Hopefully you have settled into your new home and are enjoying it immensely! The last time we were in contact was before Christmas, at which point you had 5 inchies left to do and were going to try to get them off to Katie. Please let me know if that plan worked and if they are indeed in France. If not......and you still have them....let's go to "Plan B"! Let's return to the original mailing list that Jone drew up, giving the next Violet a heads up before they are sent on in case of a request to have them mailed to a work address or a change in plans due to extensive travel, etc. People are asking me what is up with this project and by communicating here on the blog we can let everyone know easily. Please respond here on the blog when you get a minute.
Di is next on the list (I think!) and may want them sent to her office. Can you two get in touch please?
If they are at Briancon, Carol can you let us know the status? That would be so helpful!
Thank you everyone involved. Jone and I are so looking forward to putting the finishing touches on them and getting a finished Inchie sent to all of you! LOVE- Oolie

  1. Oolie and Jone,
I hope you've had a reply! It would sad to think the inches are 'lost'... Thanks to you both for your hard work in trying to keep this alive. I'm hoping for good news soon!

    1. Hi Di! Yes they will be winging their way to you this weekend. I want to send them recorded delivery and so need to get to the main post office. Have hospital appointments today/tomorrow but will get them off on Saturday morning. I am sending them to your work address, but let me know if you prefer your home address. Looking forward to seeing your inchie! sorry for the delay. Clare x

  3. Earth to Clare-
Please check in on this blog and let us know the current status of the INCHIES. As you can see, the other Violets are wondering when they will get their long awaited turn to fill in their inch. I had an inquiry from Joanna recently as well. PLEASE post a quick word on this.....thanks.

  4. Dear "Inchie police"!! Sorry for the delay x Inchies heading north and am looking forward to seeing everyones final contributions. I must apologise for holding up the project, never intended. Life is rather a roller-coaster of house renovations and hospital stuff these past few months and never any time for sewing, reading ...the fun stuff of life! Thank you for your patience and I am looking forward to hanging up a completed inchie project when I finally move into the new house. Much love to you all.....I knew the craft crime police would catch up with me eventually! xx

  5. HI CLAIRE!
THANKS A MILLION - WORK ADDRESS IS BEST. IM OFF TO WEST DEAN NEXT WEEK SO I WILL ATTACK THEM WHEN I GET BACK.
SOUNDS AS IF THINGS HAVE BEEN HECTIC FOR YOU BUT I HOPE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE WELL. AS YOU SAY IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE YOUR 'CRIMES AGAINST CRAFT' CAUGHT YOU UP. I LAUGH EVERYTIME I THINK ABOUT THE EXPRESSION AND LOVED YOUR MAGAZINE-Y POST - PRICELESS - PLEASE DO MORE WHEN TIME ALLOWS.

  6. Dear Clare-
Thank you so much for responding on the PV Blog which makes it so easy to communicate with anyone who is interested!!! Wonderful news that the INCHIES are on their way to Di. Well done dear Clare! Have you moved houses yet? Do post some photos when you are snug as a bug in a rug in your new place.....we all can't wait to see them. Good luck!
    LOVE- Oolie

  7. Clare - hope the house is looking fabulous - I'm sure it is. And so pleased to see your post - hated to think of those inchies lurking somewhere in the attic making you hide in a cupboard every time the door bell went in case it was the Serious Crimes Against Craft Unit. I, like the others, can't wait to see some photos, etc. when you're finally ensconsed in your new appropriately attractive and spacious abode. May even manage a pilgrimage to Wales to see it in person! XXXXXXXXXX Jodie
