It has taken me a while to blog, but I have finally shown my work. We were asked to make a flag to go outside the locations we were showing and I really thought that I should come up with a better idea, so made a huge Julie Arkell flower to go on the outside. I had over 200 visitors and sold quite a few bags, though most of it wasn't for sale, which really made people quite cross. We live in "capitalist world!" I made some violet cupcakes which were really delicious and found some beautiful crystalised violets to go on top. Thought of you all.
Oh Joanna - how wonderful@!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo many special things that you do - I am always in awe.
Miss seeing you - it has been a long time now, hasn't it?
Congratulations on your sales......
...and on your creativity!

It looks AMAZING Johanna! I am not all surprised people were disappointed they couldn't buy it all! I love everything, especially the huge Julie Arkell flower and the little collection on the knitted frame. And your bunting looks just as stunning in that setting as it did in your garden. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course it should be "Joanna" not "Johanna", sorry about the misspelling!
ReplyDeletecongratulations Joanna, it all looks beautiful and highly desirable!! love the flower! xxx
ReplyDeleteWELL DONE JOANNA! THE BAGS ARE FABULOUS AND THE CUPCAKES LOOK EXCELLENT TOO! 'ALWAYS LEAVE THEM WANTING MORE' - I USED TO MAKE COIL POTS WHICH TOOK AGES AND I GOT VERY ATTACHED, I PRACTICALLY REQUIRED VISITING RIGHTS WHEN I EVENTUALLY AGREED TO SELL THEM!
