my new birds

I guess you could call it a "Bird Totem"
I like the colors and that it has a little
thread of whimsy running through it.

I promise to show the finished product
when it really is done.

We did many birds in the Fireside Embroidery class.

    Jone- This little bird sampler is gorgeous! Is it one of your "kits"? If not, it should be!!!!!!!! I am drooling over the daisy-ish flower on top.....how you sewed the backround rather than filling in the petals. I just love it! One more thing to add to my growing list of "Jone How To Do Things"!!!!!

    I LIKE THE SEWING AROUND THE FLOWER MAKING IT TOO JONE! THE COMPOSITION IS LOVELY AND COLOURFUL - I WISH MY EMBROIDERY WAS BETTER - MAYBE I'LL GET A LESSON SOMETIME!
